Wooden bases
Check whether the supplied stand is fixed or foldable, how it locks into position and which top sizes it supports. A stand shown under one product is not automatically suitable for another.
Metal and marble bases
Ask for the supporting footprint, contact points, fixing method and packed weight. Confirm whether protective pads or assembly components are included.
Before combining separate purchases
Give both suppliers the actual top dimensions and weight. Obtain compatibility advice and a safe assembly method; do not improvise drilling or adhesive work on the stone.
